A young family blessed with three kids, leaving in beautiful British Columbia, loves to spend time outside. Our little twins follow dynamic adventures from the very birth. To make our trips more comfortable, we’ve been in search of reliable waterproof footwear that will securely keep children’s feet dry while they’re splashing in the water – in city puddles, wood creeks, or by the ocean beaches.

Why are KidORCA kids'rain boots better than conventional rain footwear?

In KidORCA kids’rain boots you get the best of wader’s functionality and the benefits of conventional rain footwear. This innovative combination is particularly nice for active puddle jumpers. Generally, KidORCA kids’rain boots are taller, the waterproof upper securely covers the leg above the knee, providing the maximum protection from water ingress and elements. The premium quality textile is lightweight and soft, it doesn’t impede your child’s mobility. When unused, the collar may be easily rolled down. In addition, the breathability level of the fabric facilitates the air-circulation inside the boot.

Although some conventional rain boots may have a drawstring fastener on top, the seam between a textile and a boot is not commonly waterproof-sealed making them prone to leaking water. Unlike KidORCA kids’rain boots. The junction area in our boots is tightly sewn, glued and sealed. Our R&D department was fortunate to develop a complex technology that keeps this seam 100% waterproof. We have intentionally refused from using easy-welding but toxic PVC in our production and implemented a new approach to joining rubber and polyester at a desirable waterproof level.

And finally, cushioning fleece lining makes your child’s feet happy and supported in the rainy season. Scored high in the water resistance and comfort categories, KidORCA kids’rain boots are absolute necessity for your little explorers.

What is the size range you carry?

Presently, KidORCA rain boots are designed for children aged 1-6. Our largest size fits up to US SIZE 12 (EUR 30). Moreover, we are currently working on the larger models for kids up to 10 years old and we would happily welcome your suggestions on cool designs and colors. Are KidORCA kids'rain boots intended for fall/spring, winter or summer?

KidORCA Children Rubber Boots can be worn from one season to the next. Generally, they are more comfortable from September to May. Paired with our special KidORCA Fleece Socks, rain boots keep little feet warm and comfy on chilly rainy days through the West Coast winter, but not meant for extreme cold weather.

What socks would you recommend?

Some kids choose to go barefoot because of a soft cotton lining inside the KidORCA Rain Boots. However, for most of the year we recommend special moisture wicking KidORCA Fleece Socks (to prevent from rare but possible blisters). Merino wool is the next best option, as well regular cotton socks. One pair of socks is enough. Soft and cozy polar fleece liners retain your child’s body heat, and the elastics at the knee encased with upper textile insulates it from the outside elements.

How does KidORCA ensures the product safety?

Firstly, KidORCA rain boots are produced from vulcanized natural rubber and do not contain PVC (polyvinylchloride, aka vinyl). Then, our factory regularly successfully passes the ecological tests in the world’s leading inspection SGS laboratory. KidORCA rubber boots meet or exceed established product safety standards. The paint is lead-free and the glue is formaldehyde-free. As for toxicity, because boots are made of natural rubber, there are no harmful additives, such as lead, phthalates, cadmium, etc. They may have a slight smell of natural rubber which disappears after the first walk.

What if I have PVC allergies?

KidORCA kids’rain boots are PVC free. It is our conscientious decision to produce rain boots from natural rubber.

SHIPPING

Is it too late to make changes or cancel my order?

Due to the speed of order delivery, it may not always be possible to make changes. It depends on the status of your order and whether it has been processed and/or shipped. Please contact us via email at info@kidorca.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

What if I wish to return or exchange an item?

Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. KidORCA accepts returned items purchased on www.kidorca.com with proof of purchase within 30 days from the delivery date. Please visit our Return and Exchange page to read the complete policy. If you want to make an exchange, please contact us by email info@kidorca.com and we’ll ensure you receive your new size.

Is my payment secure?

The protection of your confidential information is our priority. The website kidorca.com is encrypted for online safety by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. For instance, SSL Certificates helps to protect your passwords from being intercepted, when typed into a login page. To verify your connection is secure, check your browser window in the status bar and you should see an unbroken key or a closed lock every time you send us personal information. Moreover, the payment process is protected by PayPal – an industry-leading provider of secure online transactions. We do not store or transmit your credit card information, the payment is processed through PayPal website.

CUSTOMER CARE

Do my KidORCA rain boots come with a warranty?

Yes, you have a warranty for manufacturing defects (excluding wear and tear or misuse) for up to 6 months from the date of purchase. Please see Warranty page for more details.

What should I do if I think I have a defective product?

If you believe your footwear is defective, the best way to resolve the issue is to send us an e-mail at info@kidorca.com along with a scanned copy of your sales receipt, your contact information, a brief description of the problem and a photo of the product showing the problem area. Please allow 15 business days for us to respond, while we investigate. Items deemed defective will be replaced at no cost to you. Otherwise, at your discretion, a refund may be issued. Please make sure to read Warranty and Return and Exchange pages before sending us the item for inspection.

Can I wash KidORCA rain boots in the washing machine?

No. Please avoid placing KidORCA kids’rain boots in washer or dryer – it may warp the natural rubber or unseal the textile seams. All the information you require to care for your boots is provided in our CARE section.
